Ghost in the Machine is an original production wrought by means of AI Technology!  Join us on the Discovery One spacecraft as we zoom into the future to explore the pleasures, perils, and pratfalls of the next great tool of communicative technology. Come have fun as we explore the camp style consequences of colliding the haut brow and the low brow, human and machine, and the ontology of live performance with mediated forms of reality.  Adapted and Directed by Naomi Kliewer and Dr. Justin Trudeau.  

Reserve Your Ticket:

To reserve your seats, you will need to complete the registration form. Registration is free. Please keep in mind that our black box seating is very limited, so we humbly request that you commit to attending the show if you reserve a ticket.

Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in at the will call desk.

All tickets must be checked before 7:00PM for showings April 10th to the 13th. We will release unchecked tickets to the general public at 7:15PM. The show will begin at 7:30 PM sharp. There is not late seating.

All tickets must be checked before 1:30PM for the showing on April 14th. We will release unchecked tickets to the general public at 1:45PM. The show will begin at 2:00 PM sharp. There is not late seating.

Directions to the Communication Studies Black Box Theater

The Communication Studies Black Box Theater is located on 225 S. Ave B Denton Tx 76201 in the General Academic Building room 321. 

If you are not familiar with the UNT campus, navigating parking and directions can be a bit tricky so please give yourself plenty of time.

The easiest way is to park in the public slots along West Hickory Street and walk to the GAB. Along West Hickory there is street parking in front of CVS/Jack In The Box/ Voertman's & Aura Coffee. Find a spot along that block and then walk towards the intersection of W. Hickory & Ave B. From there it is a straight shot into campus and to the GAB. The Black Box is located on the third floor of the GAB in room 321.
